Well, come get connected with CROSSwalk…Thorn Creek’s high school group!!!
Here’s the run down:
Who’s it for –
anyone of high school age
What we do –
We do it all,
from our Outreach Game Nights, where we open up our gym and youth room and invite anyone from the community who is of high school age to come hang out with us for a night!
to fun outings and events (mattress races, ice skating, lock-in’s, ski trips),
to serious Biblically based meetings,
to service projects,
and don’t forget our Fundraisers which help fund our summer trips (mission trips and Colorado Challenge!)
When we do what we do –
Our meetings happen every Sunday, except the fourth Sunday of the month and
holidays, from 5:30-7:30pm…
Our Outreach Game Nights happen every Second Friday of the month from
6:30-9:30pm…
Our fun nights, service projects, outings and events, are on the calendar so check it out!
Please check the calendar for meetings and Game Nights too,
as they are subject to change!
Where’s it all take place –
Most everything starts in Thorn Creek’s youth room, just head to 1875 E. 170th
in SoHo, IL and head around to the back of the building, and we’ll let you in the back
doors!
Why we do what we do –
Well, that’s easy – it’s ALL for GOD’s glory, it’s all because He commissioned us to do
it…here’s our mission statement:
CROSSwalk exists to REACH high school students with the message of Christ, CONNECT them with other Christians, and SHOW them God's Word, so that together we can OFFER ourselves completely to Christ as we SERVE others.
